Pen Drive maker SanDisk has released new wireless mobile flash drive, called SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick in India on Amazon India website priced Rs.5,274 for 16 GB storage and Rs.5,536 for 32 GB.

The wireless pen drive enables easy sharing, transferring and accessing of photos and videos between mobile devices and computers and reduces storage burden in mobile phones while on the go.

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick can support capacity up to 128GB soon, a new app, and available in a compact design. It will also be available on Flipkart.

Essentially, it will replace the need for external storage devices and allow transfer of data among several devices from smartphones to tablets to computers without the need for physically connecting them. SanDisk foresees its increased use in sharing videos and photos in near future.

The Stick is also capable of supporting a single stream for up to 4.5 hours on a single charge and users can also connect directly to a computer to save and transfer files instantly.

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick among others enables management of content between users’ devices including, iOS and Android devices; Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablets; and Macs and PCs via password-protected Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with a two year warranty, said the company.
